The backside and parking lot of the this hotel overlook the BNSF Scenic Sub, just east of Olds Jct. in Wenatchee. This is also where the Cascade and Columbia River comes to town to interchange with the BNSF. Amtrak's Empire Builder runs here early morning and late evening and there is a lot of BNSF action with all of the Puget Sound - Transcon double-stack fleet passing at some point. I'm not sure, but I think the only rooms in the back are the doubles. I was in a single out front and was very disappointed I couldn't see the tracks. Oh well, you can't win them all.
