This hotel sits across I-95 from the tracks, which run immediately to the west of the Interstate highway. The new crossover named Pineapple is just north of the hotel location. This is also on the south end of the runway of Boca Raton airport and adjacent to Florida Atlantic University.

This is your basic high-end Marriott high-rise hotel overlooking the CSX tracks on south side of building. It's near the IBM complex and Florida Atlantic University and across the Interstate from the Fairfield Inn.
If I didn't know any better I could swear that Marriott owns all the track along here!

Both the SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites sit side-by-side looking southeast towards the tracks where they cross Yamato Road and the new Tri-Rail commuter station immediately south of the crossing. Each building is only about 4 floors high, but any of the rooms on the front of the building should provide an adequate view. The thing is that most of the daytime traffic is commuter and Amtrak, while most freight runs at night, just like the F.E.C. down here.
As of this writing in early February 2005 the dual tracking project has reached this area, with only the old station standing in the way of continuous double track through here.
